"Ras Al Khaimah is actively developing its tourism and hotel infrastructure."

January 22, 2026

By 2032, the number of hotel rooms in the region is projected to increase fourfold — up to 25,000, driven by interest in the flagship Wynn Al Marjan Island project.

Alison Grinnell, CEO of Marjan Hospitality, noted that in the next 3–4 years, the number of hotel keys will double, with another doubling after 2030. Current capacity is about 8,000 rooms. New brands include JW Marriott, W, Nikki Beach, Nobu, Fairmont, and Four Seasons.

Grinnell also noted the growth in demand for branded residences integrated into hotel complexes, which erase the boundaries between residential and hotel real estate.

Economic impact:

Thousands of jobs will be created. The Wynn complex alone will provide employment for more than 9,000 employees. Personnel villages for 9,800 places are already being built or opened.

Marjan and RAK Hospitality Holding announced a merger under the single Marjan brand to unify the management of real estate, hotels, and lifestyle. This expansion is part of the RAK Vision 2030 program, aimed at attracting 3.5 million tourists annually.
