According to fDi Markets (Financial Times Ltd), the city has ranked first in the world for Greenfield projects for the eighth consecutive time.

Results of the First Half of 2025

• 643 Greenfield projects — a record since 2003;
• Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) inflow: 40.4 billion dirhams (≈ $11 billion), which is 62% more compared to 2024;
• Total number of projects: 1,090 (+28.7%);
• Jobs created: 38,433 (+46.7%).

Additionally:

• 2nd place in the world by Greenfield capital volume;
• 3rd place for job creation;
• 1st place for the number of headquarters projects (+60% per year).

Dubai demonstrates strong positions in ICT, electronics, creative industries, fintech, AI, biosciences, transport, eco-technologies, and other sectors.

• UK — 10.6%;
